Do some of us avoid tragedy by foreseeing it? Some scientists now believe that the brain really CAN predict events before they happen Professor Dick Bierman sits hunched over his computer in a darkened room. The gentle whirring of machinery can be heard faintly in the background. He smiles and presses a grubby-looking red button.

IN SPIRITUALITY, AS WE ARE TAUGHT TO REMAIN POSITIVE, we often focus totally
on the light and positive aspects of Self in turn denying the dark and negative
attributes we all possess.
We are All That Is. This means that we are both the Light and Dark. To deny
or repress the darkness within is to deny a divine part of Self. In this respect,
we must ask – what is the Dark?
Life, as we know it, is polarised – into the Light and the Dark. The
Light represents what we see in life as good and positive whilst the Dark represents
what we see as bad and negative. As we experience life through this polarity,
we naturally split everything into two camps of right and wrong.

The force behind any change that’s connected to ones peace of mind and certainly of the spirit can somehow be related to the degree of centeredness of being grateful for the things that make up ones life. Yes, certainly there are detriments about certain things in the “real” world for anyone about many things. At the root of most foundations though does lay the stones of everyone’s framework, and within that has to be some degree of conscious acknowledgment of where one finds themselves in their respective moments and where the eventual future might take them.

One thought regarding the subject of time that I came across back some years ago, spoke of it as being a constant foe by those who struggled against its effects in their little bit of life and the world. The sort of foe that regardless of the effect or the cause, in some minds carries the results that many would argue would be some futile end to anyone's efforts, even if those efforts would be in the most noble of causes. Time however, can also be seen as a friend. The sort of friend that always remains by ones side and in ones life and stands as reliable and true to the mark of change and growth as a good and loyal dog does for their family. A friend who always greets with a wagging tail and a smiling visage hoping for nothing more than to be a part of ones life as one greets their days and welcomes their nights.
One interesting ancient source states: "He who forces time is pushed back by time; he who yields to time finds time on his side." - The Talmud

Authentic Tantra: It is Not “Tantric Sex!” There has been a phenomena in the Occult community that some would call the “Tantra phenomena.” Articles on subjects such as ‘fulfilling one’s sex life with Tantra,’ ‘sexual spirituality,’ and the very recent ‘tantric vampirism’ have flooded Occult-based websites with great fervor, as a result of this phenomena. Each article is different, but at least ninety percent of them have one theme in common, that theme being the belief that Tantra focuses solely on sexual practices, whether these practices are spiritual or non-spiritual in nature. No doubt, this belief in Tantra would lead many people, both occultists and non-occultists alike to consider it little more than glorified sex. Unfortunately, what scholars and Tantric practitioners refer to as a popularized belief in Tantra does not represent Tantra at all. Every authentic Tantra practitioner will tell you these five simple words: Tantra is not about sex.
